The wife and I went out hunting on opening day of archery season hoping to fill both of our tags on the same day. We came close but I was the only one with any success on opening weekend but she did come close. They never quite came in close enough. I managed to harvest a nice 4 x 3 with my Hoyt turbohawk. You need to try the new G5 T3 exspandable broad heads... they are amazing! They fly with field point accuracy and they stay in the close position in your quiver unlike rage broadheads. I shot my buck through the front shoulder and still had a complete pass through. He ran only 17 yards and stoped for a brief second before falling over dead in front of us. The cool thing was my wife was able to get it all on camera so we will be able to share this hunt together and with friends for many years to come.
