Dry Lake (McIntosh County) - Sunday, May 17, 2009

Report Details
Just went down to scout for the memorial day weekend.  Water level is way up from previous years.  It appears water is up 3-4 feet from last year.  areas that were dry are now full of water.  There was a sand bar near the dock which is now completely submerged.  Water looked like it was clearing up and not too muddy.  Trees around shoreline which were 5-10 feet away from water are now partially submerged.  Looks like you may be able to get into goose lake through dry lake again as well as fish some of the old tree lines.  Water may be 7-10 feet in those areas again.  Will update again after memorial day weekend.  Fishing taffic on the lake was really lite.  2 boats.

DKN,
I will also be up on Dry Lake this weekend.  I am staying at Green Lake and  plan to hit up Green and Dry.  Maybe we can share a beer or a little fishing information.  I have ice fished Dry but first time in a boat.  Will be running a White/red glitter Skeeter.

Good Luck, hope to see you on the water
