Ive used it quite a bit now, pretty awesome software once you figure it out.  Once you get some contours built, I recommend downloading GPSU and Map Edit, that way you can build maps from shore outlines on google.

You can adjust the DRD files up or down.  Ive had it a couple years and I log every time I go out so on Sak I had a wide range of data until I adjusted it.

Have you made any paper maps with it?  Can you put these maps on your depthfinder/GPS just like a navionics or lakemaster chip?  Have you tried it with side-imaing/side-scan(Can you cover a 400 foot swath and get good data)?  Any experience with mapping through weeds or trees?

I think you would be great for the areas where navionics didn't map on Sak.  Only problem i would see is finding time to map it all.  But if i did, I might have some really good data that nobody else has... 

I don't believe the side imaging works with DD at this point.  You can make maps for your Depthfinder with a couple other programs available online, or you can add contours in the form of trails but I recommend you making maps (lots of easy reading online on how to make them).
