Doe season

Well, we went out Saturday about noon on a quest for some doe.  By 4:30pm we had 5 doe between 4 guys.  Very succesful afternoon.  We also walked and area in hopes of walking on a deer.  We watched a hillside on the other end of where we were walking to see 100+ deer run up and over the hill.  I ended up with one straggler right after that.  Had a very succesful late season hunt!

Was that antlerless deer 2 from the right a shed buck? If not, that looks to be a big doe!!

Nope, that's a doe.  All the bucks I seen had antlers yet.  At least the noticeable ones.  That doe isn't near the size of the one I took with the bow in Nov.  That doe was 170-180.  This was a big one too.  I bought 2 antlerless permits Sat and by Sunday 5pm had them both filled.  I wasn't even going to go, but these guys talked me into it.  How lucky was that day!?
