Devils Lake (Overview) - Thursday, March 3, 2011

The last warmer weather we had on Devils a few weeks ago really shrunk the snowpack.  I've been driving around a lot on the lake with just a 4x4 pickup.  I try to avoid the deeper snow drifts, but even most of them are hard enough that you just drive over them.   Most access areas are open as well so you can get on the lake.  The snow right now is pretty hard so it's rough driving on the lake, but unlike earlier, it's not impossible.
