Did what was more than likely my last ice fishing for the season. Went out on atvs and worked East Devils by drilling holes from 14ft out to 54ft and just kept working along the shoreline. Finally found a school of perch about 6 feet thick in about 42 feet of water. Two of us limited out. Geese were flying over and at times were so loud we could hardly talk to each other. Perfect way to end a great ice fishing season. Went for a drive then last night and there were over 40 people just off Hwy 2 on Channel A fishing the open water while others were out on the ice in the north end of Six Mile. Didn't see any walleyes being caught, but the pike looked like they were hitting pretty good. Watched two young kids dragging a net full of pike up to their vehicle.
