Devils Lake (Overview) - Monday, June 6, 2011

Report Details
Fished Devils over the weekend, water is crazy.  My old places are long gone, but just remember the depths, water temps, ect. from years past and find the new areas that match these and you should do OK.  Slip bobbering the weed lines with a leech seemed the best, patience is the key.  Seemed like they would turn on at certain times and hit, then they would shut off.  Patience and move around!  Lake was easier to fish last year and prior years, lots of new flooding/cover.  LOTS OF DEBRIS ON THE LAKE!  Good luck!

"patience and move around"... ha ha ha. I actually do that sometimes.

Sometimes moving to a  new place/position is turns out to be the new hot spot. Just try all of those over looked areas when water was lower as now, they may be fish magnet.

Fished over the weekend, fish dont seem to turn on until around 9-10 am. Morning bite are slower (due to cold nights???) but afternoon and evening are a blast.
