Devils Lake (Overview) - Monday, April 25, 2011
Report Details
I fished in the secret channels this weekend (2 days). Caught our limit of 7 lbers (none smaller than 7 lbs) which is way bigger than all of the previous posts. I think the bite is over now so I would not go back. Do not listen to anyone else tell you that there are fish still being caught. Hopefully my report doesn't spread the word to the world that people are hammering hogs, but Id stay home if I were you because me and Romulus have a special touch that no other fisherman has. I was using a secret lure some people call a jig, too bad you cant buy them in stores.Best Regards

Fifty trucks at one bridge is really a ton of people. Everyone and their cousin/brudder was out in full force Monday. We caught one right away before the bridges we overtaken. It is very frusterating fishing by a bunch of locals that decided they know how to fish. It was fun to listen to the locals talk though. I think I left dumber than when I arrived.

Re:From my last weekend trip, the locals can fish pretty good. They were just not catching. Too confident in yesterday fishing stories to consider all the odds and possibilities for today trip. Data collection Outsider: 35 eyes Locals: 0 eyes Result: Skills come in all shape, size and race. Just because u can catch a fish when there are a millions of them does not mean you can fish. |
