Devils bait.

How early can I buy bait in devils lake and where is the best place for that?  Coming from the East.  Thank you!

Cenex West is open all night for part of the year not sure if that is now or not.  Ed's at 6, Woodland Resort 6:30

What is the law about bringing live bait across state lines? I know you can't use shiners or suckers on Devils Lake, but what about bringing fatheads from out of state? When we get to Devils every year the minnows are so small, you buy a scoop to get like 4 decent size fatheads.

NO! You ever hear of ANS??? Illegal! Besides if your fishing for perch u want smaller sized minnows.

It's illegal to bring bait across state lines. Please follow the rules as MN has some icky stuff in their waters. I usually go to Pete's on the east side of town. I don't know their store hours though. Good luck!
