Deer Logbook

Last year I started keeping track of where I was hunting, how many deer I saw that night/morning and how many bucks/does. This year I'm also going to try to keep track of which way the wind was blowing. At the end of the year it is kind of neat to go back and look at the patterns of deer movement. Anyone else do this?

I have kept a very detailed log for many years now. However it appears to be too deep in the gray matter for me to recall anything useful. Seriously, I contemplate doing this each year but for whatever reason never put it on paper. I do think in short order a person would really start to notice some very interesting trends.

seems like more work than it would be worth. I quit doing homework about 20 yrs ago, it sucked back then too. IMO

If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?

I started keeping a log last year, and it's been interesting look back. I've kept one this year as well, so we'll see what the trends look like at the end of this year. I think it's a helpful tool.
