about 2 months ago an oil company fracked a new well 5 miles west of me  they had a tank about 60 feet in dia  ruber lined and 13 sand trucks they were there for 8 days  now my well collapsed. a well driller is set up and down 250 feet and the only water is fron 13 to 18 feet. He is about 70 feet from the old well. the old well was at 340 feet.  I cannot believe that no signs of water yet.

4 yrs ago a neighbors did colapsed after some kind of fracking within 3 miles and his new well is over 800 feet now and not so good water.
At 40.00 per foot I hope this isn't a guessing game.

Is there some kind of map that shows underground vains or rivers that tells the approx depth  thanks

yes there are maps.  you can get them from the state water commission.  I would not be surprised if he doesn't get water until he is about the same depth as the old well.  where are you located and who is drilling it?  I worked for a well drilling company and wells collapse all the time for various reasons.

The well  & fracking it would most likely have nothing to do with your well.  If during fracking they screened out and over pressured the steel, which is unlikely as computer presets shut the pumps down in hundreths of a second.  I would suspect the water soaked subsoil may have shifted but that is beyond my level of expertise.
