Take a moment... pray for those who never got to know a world without a world war.
Thank a Veteran or a current service member...or go enlist. Keep this country free.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?

Last year at this time I was planning with some of my family members to bring my Grandpa to Pearl Harbor for the 70th anniversary this year. Unfortunately, he passed away in February. He was 17 and served on the USS St. Louis (one of the three ships that made it out untouched). He told me many stories about the horrors of that day and the destruction and death he saw. His ship left the harbor after right after the attack looking for reported enemy subs and ships. He said they never found any Japanese that day.

We must never forget what happened that day, nor any day in which our nation has been at war. Thank you to everyone who has served, who currently serves with me, and to anyone who will serve in the future.

No trip to Honolulu is complete without a half day spent at the Pearl Harbor museums and the Arizona.
