Good luck with that. Seems people like to post pictures but they are very hush hush about where the fish are biting. Luckily I would rather catch pike and I know they are biting all over Oahe!

I've done ok for crappies in the spillway lake below the garrison dam.  work around the wingwalls with a vexilar, they'll be suspended in 20 to 50 feet.  Lots of big smelt too.

The north end of Six Mile Bay on Devils had some fairly decent crappie fishing a few weeks ago.  It should be good again as more snow melts.  When most of the snow has melted and there's just a few spots left with snow it seems the crappie will pile up under those areas.  I suppose it's darker in those spots.  The crappy I've caught have all been from 14"-16".  Best day was 6, so you don't get a lot but what you get are nice.

That sounds interesting....  What reasons do you think that?  Sounds strange to me.
