Crappie or Gills near Minot?

Is there anywhere to ice fish for bluegills and crappies near Minot? besides metigoshie.

Northgate dam used to be good for gills and trout, and the spillway lake was descent for crappie & bluegills, but I think the washout sent them south. Any word on Northgate since the winter and summer kills years ago?

nothing at Northgate next would be McGregor   If you go the Mc Gregor just go straight west of the boat launch nest to the cattails in 6-8 feet of water  bring lots of kids  they were real good this fall

Almost forgot strawberry lake SE of minot has bluegills in it too.

 Lake Jarvis is the host lake for the North American Ice Fishing Circuit qualifying tournament on 1/22/12.

There must be some good panfishing up there!

Thanks for the info guys! Hopefully the ice starts to form again. I was real sketched out last time i went on Darling at Grano and you could gradually see the open water getting bigger and bigger
