A mess is what I use to describe my current crank bait storage.  Two tackle boxes and can never find the one I want unless I get lucky and see it poking out of a mess of hooks.

I've been using B&B bait boxes for my crankbait storage for almost a decade now.  Give'm a try.

I'm so tired of pulling a giant lure ball out of my crank boxes that I would be willing to give one of these a try!

Seen them, not really that great for me but others may like.  I'm going with the B & B boxes.

The problem with B & B is you cannot really see the crank right?

I don't know if I have found anything better than having them all bunched together.  At least I see the crank and I have all my cranks in a couple bags instead of needing a 28 ft boat to store everything.  Sure, I deal with the hook tangle but a few quick jiggles and they usually come loose.  Although, I have cussed a few times  Then they just hang out on my console until it is dock time.

I have 2 of these and they blow B & B boxs away. You can see what lure you are trying to pull out unlike B & B. Works great with all crankbaits

Its just the picture from the web site. I use mine for cranks. You can get 100 in each box. with out doubling them up.

Ya, to me that makes more sense than the B & B boxes.  I just need a bigger boat though for this system too.  If only they made boats in 1995 like they make them now.

Take a look at these....made by Plano. Purchased at Scheels and Gander Mountain. They make two different sizes as far as I know. Smaller one fits up to a #5 Shad Rap and the larger fits up to a #9 Shad Rap. The individual trays pivot upward so you can see each row. Works well for me as I don't like to take every crank that I own out on the lake. Pick a handful of colors, brands, and sizes. Load up a few as you lose em on the water. Helps eliminate a bunch of extra weight and clutter in your tackle

Allen, you asked for a review on CrankCaddy
I bought 5 boxes late last summer, used them and am  impressed! Just purchased 10 more boxes & 2 bags.  Really like the way they store my lures & hooks & you can see the lures easily.   Organized!!!
I have a B & B box, Shimano lure boxes and a bunch of other plastic boxes. I am replacing them all with CrankCaddy boxes.

I prefished a PWT championship with a touring pro from Wyoming that had the special mate boxes:

http://www.lakemichiganangler.com/store/Special_Mate_Tackle_Box.htm

My opinion of these are that they are great for keeping everything organized and hooks clear of each other but they do take some room in doing so.  If you have the room, by all means, great bait boxes.  If you don't find something else unless you only have a few cranks.

I usually use 3600 or 3700 plano boxes and twist tie the hooks together.  By doing this I can store a lot of lures in only a few boxes;  400 cranks in 8 or 9 - 3700 plano boxes and 4 - 3600 boxes I'd guess.

I have the product from "wahlioutfitters", and it is the "real deal" for storing and using crank baits.  Easy to use, you see what you have, and they store any where easily.  This is a new idea that works very well.  Well made and well worth the money.  I purchased several last summer and really like them.  Take a look at it on Facebook.

I have been using the crankcaddy boxes since they hit the market last summer. I too, have tried many differnt ways to store lures, and by far, this is the best storage system that I have come across! They come in three different sizes, and are able to store many lures in one box, and you can easily see what you are looking for. They will be at the Tribune Sports Show in a couple weeks, if you have never actually seen them, I recommend you go check them out.
