I dont know if this pomising, or sickening that it even needed to be addressed. Do as I say, not as I do congress.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." -Edmund Burke

"The time at which I stand before you is full of interest. The eyes of all nations are fixed on our Republic. The event of the existing crisis will be decisive in the opinion of mankind of the practicability of our federal system of government. Great is the stake placed in our hands; great is the responsibility which must rest upon the people of the United States. Let us realize the importance of the attitude in which we stand before the world. Let us exercise forbearance and firmness. Let us extricate our country from the dangers which surround it and learn wisdom from the lessons they inculcate."

I watched that , it as sickening , Pelosi was like , why are you even asking me about this,  I am beyond being approached

Boehner really wasnt much better , he basically blew it off  as I dont do my own investing , I am sure he doesnt , but I wonder who makes the call to the broker to trade and invest what ,

There was another really good one on Sunday night again this time on the home load debacle , the company that gave Conrad his special treatment , had 80% of their loans not fitting their guidelines but put them on the books anyway .

These bastards are a bunch of crooks.   I really think we have no choice but to mandate term limits.   Also,  each rep should have to provide a detailed net worth when they take office and after with a week long press conference to explain every last nickle they made while in office.    It would be interesting to see them explain themselves.

quadruple the salary for a senator, and restrict it to two four year terms.  You would get a lot more qualified candidates battling for the job, many seasoned applicants who would like to go into retirement on a high note.

I say to hell with that pot o' gold.

Well the bill passed the senate, almost a unanimous vote. Still, I wonder just how much it will actaully be enforced or if its just a feel good thing to please their constituents.

Perck of the job I guess.  Ahh, the american way, to hate on whoever gets ahead in life.  If I had a line on a stock, I'd be the first one buying.  Any of you naive enough to think Martha was the only one or what?

How do any of you think Facebook is gonna do when it goes public?

THIS REALLY SUCKS!!!

Who's going to pay 10's of millions of dollars for these low paying jobs if us taxpayers keep demanding they take away all the perks?
