Henry2950 Joined: 01/23/2008 Location: ND	Not sure about how good, but check with the Colt Archives dept. They may be able to tell you how many were made, what they are worth, etc. I have an 1898 32-30 Colt single action army that is probably worth about 3-4k yet, as it is about 10% of original condition. If in mint condition, could be 15k on up! I verified the manufacture date, and who the original buyer of the gun was by having the Colt Archives Department do some research. Cost a couple hundred dollars for the research but it increases the gun value.

Allen Joined: 01/09/2002 Location: ND	A number of manufacturers make a model 1911 in .22 LR or even a conversion from their 9 mm or 45 calibers to .22. Some seem to really like being able to pull the trigger for pennies, others just go the 9 mm route for the best of both worlds. I went the 9 mm route and am plenty happy with my Kimber.

mauserG33-40 Joined: 05/24/2008 Location: Mo	Allen I got me a kimber in the eclipse custom in a 45 and it is a fine shooter. You made a good choice there.
