How big are were the gills? There was a few stocked in there 2 years ago.

We had lots of bites friday. Lots of smaller perch but we managed to get 6 keepers. We also caught 4 bluegills I didn't even know those were in there. We used worms and a small hook cast towards cattails.

Trolled around for a few hours and had about 5 bites that was it, some people were catching some off the dock from what I was told but they seemed very picky and wanted a slow presentation fished everything from spinner and crawler to casting rapalas towards shore. I stuck between 8-16 ft. of water

Didn't fish, but camped down there the weekend of the 10th. The bugs were TERRIBLE!!! They are the Buffalo knats I think. We came home with arms and legs totally festered. Deet helped a "little" bit but you better have some Benadryl.

Anyone fished here lately? I used to fish it quite a bit a few years ago and always caught perch and a walleye here and there nothin huge ever but still fun. thinkin of givin it a try again. I now have the time to do some serious ice fishin again. thanks for any input! |

Me and a couple buddies tried moon only caught super small walleyes and perch. So I haven't fished anything else but I haven't even heard of anyone really killem anywhere yet.

It was all right fishing. Caught a couple decent perch. The road into the park has been plowed all the way. Don't drive on walking only. Lots of slush and the ice isn't all that great. Fished on the 10th for bout 3 hrs. |
