JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - An 82-year-old Jamestown man held an intruder at gunpoint before turning him over to authorities.

Police tell The Jamestown Sun that the man's wife was awakened by a loud noise about 4 a. m. Wednesday and saw someone in the house. Her husband grabbed a handgun and held the intruder at bay until officers arrived.

Police didn't identify the man. They arrested the 26-year-old suspect on felony charges of criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

Damn, they guy showed some amazing restraint if you ask me. I'm not sure I could hold off from shooting the sob. I could not imagine the adrenaline rush. Not sure how a guy can really think straight in a situation like that.
