Keep it civil everyone...please answer the questions and not turn it into an argument.  The questions pertain to walleye fishing.

1. do you practice catch and release?
2. if yes, do you ever go fishing just for the sport of it, and NOT keep any fish?
3. what is the size range of fish you keep?

1. Sometimes
2. Sometimes
3. No set size range. Depends on if I am looking for fish to eat, when I last had fish, what is in the freezer, etc.

1.  Quite a bit.
2.  Probably most of the time.
3.  Prefer to only keep 15-18" fish, but will occasionally keep some up to 20 or so if the freezer stock's getting low.

3-i like to eat them anywhere from 15 to 20 inches. honestly i have never tasted bad walleye, but just don't see a need to keep them over that, unless they are going on the wall.

As said above, it all depends on what is in the freezer already

3. what is the size range of fish you keep?
1.  Depends.  If fish are over 20 inches they almost always go back.  Exception is a hurt walleye or one that will be headed for the taxidermist.  Or if I have family out in the boat that never get to fish and I have one of those freakish days where a guy averages over 20 inches I'll keep them.  But most likely will never cut a fish over 23 inches unless foul hooked or going to taxidermist.

2.  Yes, I have gone several times and never kept a fish.  Happens a lot ice fishing where I simply don't want to clean just two or three fish.  Sometimes that burns a guy as he ends up getting a limit.  Outside that, yes, in the boat I have gone without taking a fish home.  Maybe not right size, too big or just don't want to clean fish with circumstances after.

3.  I like to cut 16 to 19 inch fish.  Will go to 14.5 to 20 inches at times if fishing seems to only reward those type of fish (and I need the fish).  If on a bunch of 19 inch fish and getting smaller is do-able I'll throw back 19's as well.

1.) yes
2.) yes, 99% of the time
3.) Walleye/Sauger on the Red; I keep sauger @ 13" (that's the smallest), and walleye @ 14". The eyes I will keep up to 21 inches. Don't have to worry about catching a sauger bigger than that, as most of them are 16-18 inches. I don't keep cats, well maybe 3 or 4 per year. Those guys are the 3 pounders.

I second this.  I will send all <14" back to catch again next year.  I makes me cringe when I see 11-12" eyes being cut up for the tiny amount of meat you get.   All in all, I just go because I love fishing and will do what "floats my boat" that day.
