I have fished out at casselton many times. Went out there a week ago. tons of bass and northern pike along the shore but just couldnt get them to bite. I could see them but no luck. One northern was quite big, the rest were small. Most of the bass I seen were decent size. To answer your question about casselton. Last year I seen A little kid catch a very large bass, Dont know the size but it was huge. lol. Otherwise I have caught tons of bass and sunnies on the lake. Some very small walleye as well.
