Went out to spear on Carpenter today. I don't know wtf is going on in that lake but the water looks like someone took a shit in a bathtub and mixed it with egg beaters. By far the dirtiest water I have encountered in a freshwater lake. Highly advise not wasting your time spearing there. Ice is 8" thick...2 permanent shacks on the ice.
