Got on some good Crappie action Saturday. Ice conditions were still favorable. 16" with no water and hardly any slush on the lake.  It was a good day to be out. Big J

2008 Antelope
Nanky and I stumbled upon this Antelope in the badlands in 2008. There is a story to it. It was poached/taken illegally. We called the game warden from Dickinson and He was making his way to the scene.

The Mud Pit
Opening day in ND for geese and ducks. Lumped in the blinds, 4 bags of decoys, guns, shells, etc. as the fields were far to wet to drive into. This flooded wheat field was loaded with ducks and geese.

We had fog roll in and out and finally cleared and opened a rainbow around 9. We were done with our limits of ducks and geese and instantly the sun burned off the remaining fog.

Here is the fish we kept for some good eats. We caught well over 100 fish, some smaller ones.  These were 11-14 inches.  Thank god for nice weather Saturday.  Get out and gettum. Big

I took Enslow out for some panfish action yesterday. He got this big guy and wasn't mad about it at all. Just shy of 15".  There were plenty of other gills and crappies to be caught as well.

March 27th Fish
I couldn't find anyone to venture out with me Sunday from Noon until about 4, so me and the hound dog ruger headed out for some sunshine. Found some fish as a bonus too. Crappies were at 12-13
The Elusive Tulibee
I went out yesterday the 28th for a couple hours after work. Found some panfish as usual and some Tulibee about two feet under the ice in 18 feet of water. I picked of 3 of them before the school
April 6th Ice Fishing
Made it out with Hawkeyed yesterday for some hardwater fishing. Managed over 40 crappies and probably 150 bluegills. We fished for about 2 hours and 15 minutes. We got some fish for fry for this weekend

This is a picture of a paddlefish I snagged with some family friends back in 1996. Snagged it with down riggers fishing the tailrace. Ripped a floating rap into its back and the fight was on. 45 minutes

December 26th, Bluegill
Made it out with a few fellas to try some fishing today. Plenty of water on the ice and wind to boot. It was pretty miserable out and not alot of fish cooperated. Scavened enough for a couple meals.
