Can anyone recommend a place that would sell buckskin or material like it other than felt/velvet/microfiber material which would be used to cover the base or "Cup" of deer antlers on a plaque?  I'd need this in Fargo if you have any suggestions.  Thanks guys.

Look for a Hobby Lobby.  They should have some leather bundles.

Either that, or I order pieces of leather from Van Dyke's taxidermy when I need it.  Just google them, they have a good website.

Try Ivory Leathers @ 901 Main ave E in West Fargo. Ph#282-2526. The lady there may be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction.

I triedHobby Lobby - they have some goatskin in black that was pretty nice, Ivory Leathers has nothing.  Tandy Leather is your huckleberry (32nd Ave. S.)  They have all kinds of options.  I found the deer skin to be the best - they have different grades and the owner will give you all kinds of tips.

NICE! I did mine this year in some microfiber which I really liked actually. I'll keep Tandy Leathers in mind.
