Willey, no you can't drive where they airerate. There was an older couple that died up there about 15 or more years ago by driving into the area that is airerated. I believe they actually drove through the safety rope that was around the open water. I don't know how familiar with the lake you are but the airerater is located by the sunken island in the biggest bay on the lake, which is the bay farthest to the west. The island is located towards the center of the bay mostly to the south.If that makes any sense. I think there is still a safety rope around it but not certain.
