How is access on the lake now? Is there any success since the last two fronts passing through? Wondering if you can get a 4x4 pickup around? Thinking about heading there tomarrow. Any information would be appreciated. |

Aerator is running and has been for the last few years. The pumphouse is located on the South shore of the North part of Brush Lake. There are markers out on the ice to stay clear of. |

there has been no aerated system in the lake ever since a older couple drove into the opening around the aerator and drowned.

Not sure if it's running this year but it always has been in the past. Usually open water but the locals do a pretty good job of marking it.

Lots of perch in the 6 inch range. A around 9 inch. Two small northerns in shallow 6 foot. Perch good around 14 feet. Hard to keep the line in the water with all the small perch.

caught 15 good sized perch and 3 northerns was a fun time little sis was out fishing me but all in good fun

You can get on the ice pretty easy with a 4 wheel drive. Small snot rockets in 8-10 feet, steady perch bite in 16-18 feet of water - although the perch are small.
