ice is till 4 inches near the shore and it is about 2.5-3 inches 60 feet out so one week of cold temps and i will be out fishing

FYI:ice is 4 inches right off shore and about 2 inches 50-60 feet out.Ice gets thin fast...not safe yet.I would think it should be safe next weekend.

Anyone been out on the lake lately? Thought about going out sunday. Never fished the lake so any info is helpful. Probably just troll spinners. Also any motor or live bait restrictions?

Fished for about four hours. Tried casting for bass, trolling for walleye, and jiging for sunnies. a couple nibbles and nothing else. This lake is a dead sea right now, and i wont be back anytime soon.

I fished the Brew a few times this year with no luck at all. I think the water was still to cold. I don't have a graph so I don't know what the water temp was. Normally you can see the bass in the shallow spots but not yet as of last week. They might be going now that we had a descent warm week.

Remember Catch and Release is the best policy for BASS ........this is such a small lake the fish can't reproduce fast ehough if everyone keeps everything they catch... YOU can always come back and catch some BASS again next time !! Plus remember to always teach someone to fish and have a good time .

YOu should catch some bass along the shorelines now, dont know if all the docks are in yet but there is a main fishing pier. and along the dam is good to, sit on the rocks.
