Bow Hunters

Hey there guys,have a question   Is it any better to be in the woods? or to be set up on the edge of a soy bean field . The reason  im asking is hunt in mn and the spot i been goin to scouting the last week or so i havent seen anything 8o'clock-8 :35 pm or so, every yeari usually see something and this year nothing soy bean fields to the south and east so no lack of food. any pointers or info you guys can give me would be great! goin on 5 years with bow and have taught my self everything i know about it. (no one else hunts in the family   whatta shame)season starts the 17th i believe over here .       t
