Is the spawn already over?  too late to go fish for em?
I would be fishing sakakawea...Ive had success fishing mid lake humps with access to deeper water on other lakes, would this hold true for the big lake?
Thanks!

I would guess the spawn is over, but that doesn't mean they won't bite.  Their numbers have dwindled for some reason over the last decade or so. They're getting harder and harder to find.

Really? Wow thats good to hear. I havent caught one through the ice in a few years, something that used to be at least once a trip on the west end of the lake for me anyway. I have picked up a few on the yellowstone in the spring and fall but they all have been tiny.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.
