How ignorant of someone to pay $5k for an ice shack, knowing it is easily mobile, and not retrieve it when the forecasts have been 30's, 40's, and 50 degree temps.  Was the guy wanting to save some gas money??

It doesn't take a genius to figure out 9" of ice and warm temps equates to unstable ice conditions.

The owner could've brought it up on tires and have a skid on the tongue to just slide it to a safe location until a heavier vehicle (sled, atv, etc.) could take over.

Dakota G-man

Glad the world works perfectly where everyone has time to do things. This is my buddies house who didn't have time to make it up there to get it off the lake (works 13 to 14 hours a day) Also lives an hour and a half from the lake. Good thing is, got it out today without much trouble and little damage to the house. The other 2 that are left out there are definately a little worse off.
