Who is the best taxidermist to mount a bluegill? I do not care about price; I am looking for quality and longevity of the mount. Any help would be great. I will go anywhere within 250 miles of Fargo.

Was vacuum sealed and frozen within 5 hours after it was caught. Big enough to put on the wall.  Ph level of this lake is fine.

I would email reeltrophyfish@aol.com about it.  He does replicas and they look amazing.  Here is a link to some of his work.

Sportsman's Taxidermy in EGF does quality work, and you definitely get what you pay for. I've had a long-nose gar and a whitetail deer done there, and both turned out fantastic.

I am curious about fish mounts too.  Looks like I just might be putting a couple of perch of this year.  I have had awsome success with the perch and they just keep getting bigger.  Last weekend was my largest ones ever.  What does it take to make a trophy perch?

holms,

Careful,I had reefish do a 34" walleye I released, worse chop job I have ever seen,Maybe I'll post a pic? looks like a cross between a smallmouth  bass and a salmon, the walleyes tail/fan was wider than anything they had so they used a salmon tail or some such thing.

But I agree, find a shop in your area that does replica's and they'll last a life time, mounted fish tend to dry out over time and crack, sometimes the tail curls too.

Why go 250 miles when the best lives here - Bill Kitzman  West Fargo

With fish --- its all in the painting (my .02).   As far as longevity --- i have some on the wall that have been around for eons.   They didnt crack or dry -- technology 20 years ago was good and now even better.  The ones that u see that are tough lookin are bar ridden, ancient or not done properly.
Stay thirsty my friends
