Blacktail Dam - Tuesday, June 21, 2011

Report Details
Went out today and tried a bit of everything except movement. Pulled in and just decided we would start right at the first fishing pier and the fish kept us just busy enough that we never left. Caught walleyes on slip bobbers set around 15 feet on leeches and minnows, wind was light so that helped get some distance with casts. Also caught one walleye pitching a fuzz e grub tipped with a crawler. Perch were mainly biting, buddy was catching quite a few very near the pier, sometimes almost under it. He picked up a walleye this way also, just  bobber and chunk of crawler under a bobber. Ended up with 7 walleyes all under 10 in and all still swimming, was lucky none of then were hooked badly at all. Caught many many perch mostly small but brought home a few that were 9-10in and just had some crispy perch for dinner. Picked up a couple small pike but not nearly as many as we expected we would, also didnt see any gills or SMB. Thanks for the info fellas.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.
