Black Hills Streams - Tuesday, July 19, 2011

Report Details
In this heat, I would try Castle Creek above and below Deerfield. Rainbow, brook and the odd occasional splake. Nice browns in the walk in area below the dam.

Grace Coolidge Creek in Custer State Park has been good for rainbows with a some brookies and a few Tiger Trout. If you land a Tiger over 12": DON"T gut it. Have it weighed on a certified scale as it will likely be a new state record.

Boxelder Creek is the sleeper in the Nemo area. Good numbers of fish and little pressure. Guess that holds true for most streams in the Hills though.
