I was wondering if anyone else out there runs this combo? i am shooting a benelli SBE and this week was the first time ive tried this ammo and also the new long range choke tube from carlson made for blackcloud and all other types also.
wow is all i can say! dropped 3 big B-52 honkers at the 70 yard range like nothing dead as a doornail! i wouldnt have even tried this shot prior to this setup!
got the medium range choke also and tried that one on the ducks and pheasants this weekend works awesome for ducks but maybea little too much for pheasants shooting regular lead #4 shot at typical 20-45 yard ranges at pheasants and not only killing them but some were like poof misinga few feathers if ya know what i mean!
and ducks dont stand a chance with the number 3 blackcloud out to 60 yards easy with the medium range choke!  i love technology! havent tried heavy shot yet and dont plan on it as this setup is awesome!

I know a guy who shoots standard steel shot through a extra full choke and claims that he routinely drops geese dead at 80 yards.  I know for a fact that he comes back with a limit of geese every time he goes out.  I was told that with steel, you should go with a more open choke - not the extra full.  But it seems to work well for this guy, even though it is totally opposite of what it is supposed to be.
