bipods

Interested in getting a bipod to mount to the rifle but am not sure about the effect of the extra weight and/or if it would be better to just use a shooting stick or similar device not attached to the gun.  What are your guys' suggestions?

Harris, swiveling, 9-13, slotted, pod-loc.....

The ONLY reason I would not have one on a rifle is if said rifle was an ultra light and I was looking for the lightest carry possible.  Even then I'd have to try it with it on first just to see how it felt.

If'n you ain't quick Jiffy will try to shoot coyotes out YOUR side of the pickup.  He's sneaky though, 1st he just asks for a range on them.  (grin)
