Report Details
going to be at beulah bay campground next weekend, anyone have any tips for me would be greatly appreciated. We havent fished here since July, should we go right back to the spots we were catching them at then?
Thanks for any help.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?

The lake has turned over and the walleyes are now spread out all over the place.  you'll catch one her or two there, they won't be grouped up feeding like they were a few weeks ago.

keep moving, try shallow, try deep.  Don't stay in one spot for more than a half hour without catching a fish, and you may only catch one or two per spot.  pulling larger cranks out deeper over smelt where fish were marked has worked well for bigger fish in the last couple weeks.
There's no such thing as a "trash fish"

Thanks, is the water down quite a bit from 3 weeks ago, that was the last time I was up on the lake.
I usually fish out of New Town or Mckenzie bay and my fall spots arent going to be fished because the roads getting to them are a huge pain in the arse, takes over 3 1/2 hours to drive a hundred miles.

Fishing was pretty slow, lots of bass, a big northern, a few perch, and 6 walleye all weekend.
