My feet will freeze in mild temperatures......All those years of wearing shitty boots as a kid.
I'm shopping for a good warm dry light weight boot that grips well and am willing to pay....those Muck boots are catching my eye.......

thanks

I have the Muck Arctic Sports and I really like them. If you are really sensitive to cold though, go with the Arctic Extremes.

My Muck Arctics are approaching a decade worth of usage.  I still think quite highly of them.

from what i can tell... don't have em myself... but, will as soon as i wear out the ones i have... those well insulated mucks or something similar are the ticket for ice fishing.  get the ones with the most insulation you can find.  and they should stay waterproof till you puncture them.

Muck Arctic Pro! Bought a pair this spring and walked 1100 plus miles in them this summer and they still look like they are brand new. Plus your feet will stay warm even if they get wet.

Trapped arctic fox for the USDA-WS up in Barrow, AK. My trap lines averaged 20 miles a day and was up there a little over 2 months checking lines everyday except the 4th of July. I took the 4th off so I could run the Eskimo marathon.

Meelosh- I appreciate it, but I am by no means a mountain man. Just was fortunate to land a very awesome job and get some amazing experiences.

Enslow- I would like an arctic fox pelt too. Can't keep anything I catch though because it is a federal job. Have to give all the fox I catch to the local college where they do rabies tests on them.

Sorel boots that I have had since in high school. I wear them only for ice fishing and rarely to snow blow the driveway. In all honesty they still look and feel like brand new.

I dont know if you can even get them any more, but I never get cold feet with a good pair of wool socks in them.

I have the Much Arctic pros as well. My feet still get cold if I'm not moving but I, too, was blessed with terrible hand-me-downs as a kid.  They are much better than any other boot I have purchased in my adult life.  Plus you don't have to worry about your feet getting wet while drilling.  If you're looking for traction, I'd slap some of those gripper things on the bottom of the boots.

LaCrosse Ice Kings are good for "sitting" - the new alpha ice king looks amazing.

I had a pair of Redball pacs that were uber warm too.
