Best choke for Black Cloud?

I plan on shooting Black Cloud (3 or 4 shot) this fall for ducks and was wondering what is the best choke tube to shoot this.  I've found Carlson tubes, Kick's High Flyer and Vortex have good reviews online but I'm not sure which one to buy.  I would appreciate any info from anyone who has used this before.

Patternmaster makes a chocke tube specifically for Black Cloud ammo... I shoot the 31/2 BB through the patternmaster out of my Benelli super nova and love it.  Knocks them honkers dead at 50+ yds.  Best combo i've found.  Jeff Foiles has a Strait Heat  chocke coming out specifially for back cloud as well not sure when it's going to be out but have heard really good things about the regular one.   Every gun is different as well as ammo but if your set on the Black clouds I would go with the patternmaster.  Good Luck!

I personally shoot cheap non toxic ammo but I buy black cloud and premium non toxic for my boys 20 gauge.  I was at the game fair a few weeks ago and specifically asked the federal ammunition rep. there if any of the after market chokes for black cloud were better then any other.  He said that you should actually shoot your factory choke and any choke that is designed to strip the wad away from the shot defeats the purpose of the flight control wad.  Other than what he told me I have not personally shot the stuff.

I shoot a Benelli Super Black Eagle with a 28" barrel and a Carlson long range Black Cloud choke tube with BBB 3 1/2" Black Cloud and its awesome, I've killed honkers at 60+ yards dead in there tracks.

I have a Winchester sx3 field 26 in an also run a carlson black cloud (Imod choke down)
I've been running black clous and standard federal steel with it... some impressive results. 50-60+yard kills.

I also have an 887 with a 26in barrel... I bought it to shoot 3.5 in shells.
I have a carlson Imod in it, but I run winchester 3.5 in steel ( Xpert rounds) or the 3.5 in Heavy Shot ammo.

I only run 3 shot unless your talking about geese hunting. then It's dueces or BBs.

I'm the devil's son..... call me young gun.

NEW! - 12 and 20 GA Titanium Coated BLACK CLOUD Choke

Black Cloud Choke TubeGET OUTSTANDING RESULTS WHEN YOU USE THE KNOCKDOWN POWER OF FEDERAL PREMIUM'S BLACK CLOUD™ AMMUNITION WITH CARLSON'S NEW TITANIUM COATED BLACK CLOUD™ CHOKE TUBE

Federal's new Black Cloud™ ammunition features devastating penetration which can now be delivered with unique features that help downrange performance increasing hunter success.

These chokes are specifically designed to get the most performance from Federal's new Black Cloud™ ammunition, but perform extremely well with other steel shotshells. The Long Range model can be used with all steel shot sizes, except T & F, and with ammunition performing at velocities below 1550 fps.

The Mid Range model can be used with all steel shot sizes, and with ammunition that exceeds 1500 fps. Black Cloud™ ammunition has been designed to be used with choke tubes that do not use porting or wad stopping devices.

I just got the Carlson long range Black Cloud choke tube and LOVE it, this past weekend shot Heavy Metal out of it. It nice seeing those geese fall out of the sky and hit the ground instead of just seeing feathers fly!!!

Actually the mid range tube is a modified constriction (.025),these aftermarket chokes are tooled to get a more/even pattern inside the kill zone or if you pattern the gun more shot pellets inside a 30" circle and different distances.

Ok, I'm going to Scheels tonight to pick up the Carlson choke tube.

Does anyone know if you can shoot lead through it also?

So any of you guys actually pattern your shotguns to see if these fancy chokes actually help or how good the patterns actually are?

I am curious how many acutally pattern their shotguns?

I pattern every choke and every shotgun I own with all new ammo. I read an article the other day in Wildfowl mag about BlackCloud Snow Goose it comes in 2's and BB and from the testing they did its supposed to be the bee's knees! Gonna try that soon!  Shoot'em in the Face!
