Battered and Bruised

walynut Joined: 01/08/2003 Location: ND	Ok guys, whats the most amount of damage you have delt to your boat vs the best reward recieved for the damage? I prefished this weekend for the Chamber next weekend and I paid both days. Saturday hit a stump VERY hard and knocked a 1" by 1" square chunk out of my gel coat near the transome but Rewarded with a 8.5 and 6 lb walleyes Sunday, was a bit windy, caught a bad wave while moving the boat around in the trees and shot a branch through my windshield, glass everywhere, Rewarded with a 7.25 lb walleye. Worth it???? Dont know, but i'm still having fun!!!!!

snow Joined: 01/29/2003 Location: MN	I've been beached fishing the missouri after the corps dropped the water level over 24hr period just enough to get me stranded about 30yrds in on a sand bar,another time tore the lower unit completely off on a reef on LOW's,thank goodness for the kicker and the yammie"pit crew" back at weigh-in.But,yeah its part of the competition game,sometimes ya gotta get real nasty to make things work.,boats and motors can be repaired. Is this a new boat? or are ya adding battle scares?
