I am looking for a place to buy barreled actions, I have a book that said Charles Daly was the place to go for Mauser barreled actions, however since Remington started importing Mausers they no longer do it. Any body else know where you can get barreled actions, I don't necisarrly what Mauser any thing will work. Thanks.

If you're looking for an action to build a custom I'd scour the gun shops for a good deal on a used rifle. Have your smith sell the stock and original bbl (if it's worth it) and get to building.
