just curious if anybody would happen to know the twist on a factory Tikka T3 .223?
if not, perhaps a link to a website that would have this info.
looking at trying some 75 grain bullets and wondering if my barrel twist is fast enough to handle it.

thanks.
Hold my beer while i land this walleye!!

If it comes down to it pull the bolt and count the twist of a cleaning rod with something on it that will twist with the riflings.  Measure your bbl and do the math.

Looks like 8 or 12. I assumed you were referring to the T3 Hunter

I have a Tikka T3 lite stainless .223 and it is 1:8 twist.  It just has the number 8 on the barrel not 1:8.

Ive had great accuracy in my Tikka T3 varmint with the 65 grain softpoint sierra bullets BTW. A really good hunting bullet for that cartridge also.

I'm almost positive they are 1 in 8.

At least mine is and others I know of are as well. Most likely they all are.
