Anybody get out and see the Northern Lights last night or tonight?? Tried tonight by Valley City with no luck.

Took my oldest out looking last night north of Bismarck.  Didn't see a thing either.

Anyone further up north been looking?

 A guy posted on his facebook a few nights ago, he was north of Mandan and the sky was LITE up! Great thing to see. Also, a few of my friends saw them around 4 :30 a.m. this morning on the way to work in bismarck.

I here it was a major solar flare a few days ago,so intense that radiation could affect commercial airlines traveling through the northern part of the states and canada.

Did't see a thing in north central Mn.

nothing between 11:00pm and 1Am last night 20 miles south of Canada.  clear view in the hottub but nothing for the last many yrs at least not like 5 or so yrs ago
