The Garrison Walleye Fall Classic is Back!

Garrison, ND - After a one year leave of absence the Garrison Fall Walleye Classic is back.

The 5th Annual tourney will have a guaranteed payout of $10,000 with a handsome set of payouts to the remaining top nine teams.  Based off 60 teams and a $650 entry fee the tourney's reward is worth its risk.  Especially when you tack on the opportunity at daily big fish pots of $750 for biggest fish, $500 for second biggest and $250 for third biggest.  And there's more...sponsor and bonus money awaits lucky anglers!

The tourney kicks off September 11th giving anglers the long weekend of Labor Day weekend to seek out the cold water walleye necessary for moving up the leaderboard.  The two day tournament will be held out of Garrison, ND.

This event is one of Lake Sakakawea's premiere tournaments so if you are looking for one more challenge to end the season this is it!

They use to have it a week later in the year around the 18th. I like the idea of having it closer to labor day weekend a guy only has to take 4 days vacation to prefish the whole week. Or fish a three day weekend and work a couple of days come back thursday prefish one day and only use 2 days vacation. Another plus moving the date up like this we only miss one weekend of sharptails.

I think the move is a good move.  Only bad part is running into opener of bow season.  Never a good time when the calender ticks over to fall in North Dakota.  So much to do and so little time to do it!
