Take-a-Kid Fishing Day

Following is the information for the Bis-Man Reel & Rec Club’s 27th Annual Take-a-Kid Fishing Day:

When: Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: Sweetbriar Dam, Shelter #2 (West Side)

Volunteers and guides will host the following activities for the kids.
• Boat Rides
• Shore/Boat Fishing
• Minnow Races
• Fish Painting & T-shirt Transfer
• Casting Instruction and Contest
• Ham Radio Station
• Scavenger Hunt for Fishing Tackle
• Grilled Hot Dog Lunch

This is a fun event for all ages. Parents are also invited to share the day with us. Pre-registration is encouraged to better help us plan for the event. Contact us to register or volunteer:
