M.U.L.E.Y. Day Camp

The Northern Badlands Chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation announces the 3rd Annual M.U.L.E.Y Day Camp (Mindful, Understanding, Legal and Ethical Youth)

The entire day is FREE to youth and families! Every youth participant will get to take home hunting gifts and will also have chances at many GREAT DOOR PRIZES including binoculars, hunting backpack, youth bow and a .22 rifle!

This is a chance for youth and family to come to the range with your rifle or bow and practice or come try one of ours.


Time:  Saturday June 19, 2010, 10 am – 2 pm
Location:  Maclean Bottoms Rifle Range - Bismarck (7.5 mi E of U of Mary on 1804)
Who:  YOUTH (16 & under) with family members
Activities:  Rifle and Archery target shooting with Hunting and Safety talks
Provided:  Rifles, bows, targets, ammunition, ear plugs, shooting glasses
Free Lunch:  Hot dogs, Brats, Chips and Refreshments
Door Prizes:  Youth bow, .22 rifle, binoculars, hunting backpacks, and more!

 Rifle ammunition (.243 & .22) and targets will be provided. Bows will also be available for youth to try for the first time or practice their skills. Volunteers will be on hand for guidance and safety. Deer hunting educational and informational presentation will also be given. Parents - bring a camp chair if you have one. We look forward to sharing a great day of outdoor shooting and hunting related activities!
