Is Your Ice House Snowed in? Need it Removed?

That seems to be the case for a lot of anglers in central the north central North Dakota. When ice freezes over anglers from all over the Dakotas try to beat the rush and get their ice house on the lake. Well, everyone’s had the time to do so, but now the question seems to be, “How will I get my ice house off!”
With record snow fall amounts, the answer is, don’t wait before it’s too late.
This Saturday, January 17th, Carey Gieser of Six Mile Corner will be at the Grano Crossing/Lake Darling area equipped with a four wheel drive vehicle, chains and a V-plow ready to help anyone who needs their ice house pulled off.
Simply give him a call to arrange help for Ice House Removal.

Re:Speaking of chains, I want to get some for my Ford Ranger. I ask if anyone has an opinion cable-style versus link-style. I can get two pair of cable-style for the price of one pair of link-style. I only want to use them to avoid getting stuck, i.e. I am not planning to push any snow with a blade. Ideally, I am anxious to hear from someone who has used both kinds. Thanks in advance. |
