Ducks Unlimited to Host Annual Fun Shoot

Ducks Unlimited to Host Annual Fun Shoot

Bismarck, N.D. - Ducks Unlimited, the leading wetland habitat conservation organization, will host its annual Fun Shoot at the Capital City Sporting Clays near Menoken, North Dakota on May 8 at 1 p.m.

"We are looking forward to a great crowd at this year's event," said Jeff Essler, North Dakota Regional Director for Ducks Unlimited. "Everyone is welcome at this event, which will feature prizes, food and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will go to support DU's wetlands and waterfowl habitat conservation efforts."

Pre-registration prices for the event are $45 per attendee age 12 or older. For attendees under 12 years of age and new shooters, pre-registration prices start at $25. A DU membership is included in the registration price. Pre-registration must be received by May 2. Prices after May 2 are $55.

Food and Refreshments will be available at the event.

For registration forms or additional information, contact Richard Gauerke at 701-222-2706 or Jeff Essler at 701-224-8270.

With more than one million supporters, Ducks Unlimited is the world's leading wetland and waterfowl conservation group. Wetlands are nature's most productive ecosystems, but the United States has lost more than half of its original wetlands, and continues to lose more than 100,000 wetland acres every year.
