Bismarck-Mandan 2011 Fishing Tournaments Set the Tone

Winter has been long; too long for even those who like the winter season! The good news is that it’s March, and sooner rather than later Mother Nature will be forced to release her frigid grip. When she does, the rivers, lakes and ponds will once again be open for springtime walleye and pike fishing. Simply put, it will be a special time for North Dakota and visiting anglers.

North Dakota spring fishing has become a fisherman’s dream, with the world-class fishing the Missouri River offers stretching from Riverdale, ND through Bismarck-Mandan and on into South Dakota. Bismarck sits perhaps dead center in some of the greatest spring fishing in the entire nation, with strong year-classes of eager plump walleye providing great catches for all anglers.
