2011 Spirit Lake Casino Walleye Fishing Tournament

Spirit Lake Marina is gearing up for the 11th Annual Walleye Classic Tournament this June 11th and 12th. The popular Devils Lake walleye fishing tournament is noted as one of the top pay-outs of its kind in the state of North Dakota with a $10,000 guaranteed first place and remaining payouts based on number of entries.

The two day tournament kicks off with registration, dinner and rules meeting Friday June 10th at 4:30pm in the Cedar and Willow rooms at the Spirit Lake Casino & Resort. Anglers may register at this time without incurring any penalty. There is a $250.00 entry fee and will be limited to 150 teams.

“We want to say a special thank you to all those anglers who have fished with us and also to invite those who haven’t to join us for a great weekend of tournament fishing”, says Daniel Lohnes, Marina Director.

The Spirit Lake Marina is probably the best access on Devils Lake with the facility being top notch.
It really is a great place to host a tournament and anglers seem to enjoy themselves and take advantage of the great hosting job the Marina provides year after year.

Spirit Lake Marina is open 7 days a week, 24 hrs. offering convenience as well as accessibility to anglers and guests. The Spirit Lake Casino & Resort also offers 6 fully furnished log cabins available for rent and an RV Park that offers full hook ups.
