six in one half dozen in the other, I have had both and like both. Like the apple better for reliability and everything always working, droid x was nice because of the talk to text and google GPS. Both phones are nice.

I have the new iPhone 4s, its everything a guy needs and more! so many hand features.  Throw an otterbox on it and its virtually indestructible. No regrets on my end!

I cant imaging why you would need it. A phone is for calling and an occasional dirty text. Unless you want to spend 150 a month to make a phone call and google fishing buddy save your cash and get an elcheapo.

How is the iphone touch screen?   I had a Samsung Rogue a while back and could not get used to the touch screen.   Always fumbling around with it and hitting unintended option etc. even after having it "calibrated" for my fingers.   I really like the Blackberry keyboard but I've been told the iphone options and apps are way better.

I need a wifi hotspot to run the computer to do reports when I am in the field  there are places that cell coverage is not so good but with a booster and wifi I could get the job done

i have an iphone on verizon currently and have had it since april, before that i had a droid incredible so im familar with both major operating systems and in my opinion the iphone is pretty hard to beat especially now after ios 5 came out. the battery is significantly better than a droid phone and the software and phone itself seem to hold up pretty well. i do notice the highly talked about antenna issue if i dont use a case but with the case it does pretty well as far as antenna goes. with the new version of software now you can sync with your computer wirelessly and anytime you purchase or install music or an app on one device it will automatically send the same song or app to all your other devices which is pretty good if you have a couple computers or an ipad or something else also. My only complaint on the droids was battery life, even with battery managment apps and all the things they reccomended i still had to charge the battery by two in the afternoon if i was using it much where the iphone goes all day and this is after 5 months of use

I just got a new phone today. Went in thinking that I was going to get some sort of smart phone and walked out with a regular phone. I just could not justify spending $360 a year on data and on top of that spending another $200 for the phone. Sure would be nice, but I have found that people who own smart phone tend to be connected to them all the time. Always glued to them. I like to enjoy life and actually talk to people and look up once in awhile.

I hear you loud and clear.  Many times I'd like to take my Blackberry and throw it away and move back in time to 1975.  It does get annoying constantly getting texts, emails, calls and voicemails but what does a guy do?  I admit sometimes I just ignore the damn thing.

Think I have an I phone. It is the Gz one by Casio. Had the old Boulder which was indestructible. This one is supposed to be the same. GPS, internet, can do routes, everything for outdoors. I have hooked up to the i-net once. For me it is a waste of money. Battery life is short.
